Sorry if I haven't done your request yet. I've been procrastinating lately, I have to admit. I assure you I'll get to work on any requests I need to do soon.
Anyway, this was originally an experiment to see if I got any better at drawing Sonic. During 90% of my elementary school years, I drew nothing but Sonic characters. Like, I couldn't draw a human if I tried, so I just drew Sonic and the gang and my crappy Sonic recolor. I wasn't any good at it, either. When I hit like, 6th grade, life slapped me in the face and told me to stop being a weiner, so I quit doing Sonic stuff and actually made an attempt to learn to draw humans and learn the human anatomy. I'm still learning, of course.
So, I was in that "Sonic phase" for about 3 years (I drew nothing but Sonic characters for 3 years), and did awful. Now I'm in 9th and I decided I'd draw Sonic again like the old days to see if I could actually draw him well for once (I SHOULD be able to, as much as I'd drawn him back then!). I guess the mission was a success, because he actually turned out pretty well. I don't think the eyes look too good, and the legs seem kinda small, but for the most part it's a lot better than what I used to do. The pose actually turned out kinda decent too, and I even made an attempt at a background (it's Speed Highway Zone, though it looks kinda flat, I tried because Speed Highway was my favorite stage from SA1, that and Radical Highway from SA2 also probably had the most memorable music in the game, in my opinion), but this was really more for practice than anything else. Especially with shading, but I want to perfect my anatomy and whatnot before I go into shading (nice colors can't mask a poor drawing)
But yeah, here's Sonic, enjoy.
Hedgehog the Sonic belongs to Sega and Sonic Team
Speed Highway was probably the best level in the game.
Totally. Windy valley was a fave of mine too, but Speed Highway mang.
