Roses Are Pink

i'd honest-to-god hug almost everyone in this stupid cartoon

I wanted to draw Rose so I drew Rose. Her hair is very, very different because it's so hard to draw.
Dat voice doe. Rose's voice is like a really, really nice back massage. Unnf.

ANYWAY I want someone to critique the crap out of of this because i'm trying new things and getting used to hands and different body types. For some reason the eyes STILL turn out really weird so can someone PLEASE redline this or point out what's wrong with the eyes. Everything I try just aint working. And I keep telling myself I'll do backgrounds, but I almost always never have anything in mind, I just draw characters and then at that point I'm too far along for a background to be put in without it being forced.
